About the Role

Our client is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to join the commercial team in Chicago (hybrid model). This role is focused on driving revenue by selling event sponsorships and registrations into large financial institutions and adjacent fintech/service providers that want access to senior buyers.

You’ll be responsible for a mix of net new business and repeat/expansion opportunities, with a strong emphasis on outbound hunting and building a consistent pipeline. The right person is polished, confident selling to senior executives, and thrives in a fast-paced, build-as-you-go environment.

Responsibilities

· Own the full-cycle sales process for event sponsorships and registrations

· Prospect into enterprise accounts across buy-side and sell-side financial organizations

· Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities (high outbound motion)

· Run discovery calls, qualify opportunities, and identify the right sponsorship fit

· Build relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, trading, and strategy functions

· Negotiate and close sponsorship and participation agreements

· Track activity and opportunities accurately and consistently

· Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support event delivery and client success

Qualifications

· 2+ years of B2B sales experience (enterprise exposure strongly preferred)

· Experience selling into financial organizations (or strong finance knowledge and credibility)

· Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders (C-suite, founders, portfolio managers, CIOs)

· Strong communication skills and a confident, polished presence

· Ability to work independently, build pipeline, and execute without heavy structure

· Naturally curious and motivated by learning complex financial concepts

· Based in Chicago and able to work a hybrid schedule
