Territory Growth Specialist – Orthodontics
Territory Growth Specialist – Orthodontics
Chicago,IllinoisJob Title – Territory Growth Specialist
About the Hiring Company
Our client is one of the largest orthodontic support organizations in North America, supporting a large network of orthodontic practices across the U.S. Their culture is people-first and patient-first, with a strong emphasis on clinical ethics, education, and high-quality patient outcomes.
They are scaling a newer, fast-growing product line that helps practices expand access to care through a streamlined orthodontic treatment option. This initiative is in active growth mode and has major executive-level focus tied to adoption, utilization, and long-term patient value.
About the Role
Our client is hiring a Territory Growth Specialist to support orthodontic practices across the Chicago territory by driving awareness, adoption, and ongoing utilization of a core product offering.
This is a field-based education and relationship role, not a hunting role. You will spend most of your week onsite in partner practices, training doctors and staff, improving workflows, and supporting consistent execution.
If you enjoy being in the field, building trust, and helping teams run better, this role is built for that.
Responsibilities
· Drive product adoption and utilization across ~36-42 orthodontic offices in the Chicago territory
· Conduct in-office education, training, and “lunch & learns” for doctors and staff
· Support practices with workflow optimization and process improvement tied to product delivery
· Build strong relationships with practice teams through consistent onsite presence
· Execute a structured weekly rhythm (majority field time, plus planning and development time)
· Track territory activity and progress toward utilization and growth targets
· Partner closely with operations leadership to identify barriers, improve execution, and share insights from the field
Qualifications
· 1-3 years of relevant field-based experience (sales, education, training, clinical-to-commercial, etc.)
· Comfortable walking into offices, building relationships quickly, and presenting confidently
· Strong communication skills with the ability to teach, influence, and simplify complex information
· Ability to absorb product knowledge quickly and translate it into practical application for clinical teams
· Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable working independently in the field
· Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Chicago territory (4-5 days/week)
· Patient-first, mission-driven mindset with a relationship-forward approach
Benefits
· Competitive base salary and commission structure
· Monthly activity-based incentives (office visits, education, training)
· Medical, dental, and vision coverage
· 401(k) with employer match (approx. 4%, TBD)
· AFLAC / disability options
· Company card for travel expenses
· Mileage reimbursement and travel coverage (flights/rental cars as needed)
· Benefits begin after ~60 days (first of the following month)
· Full-time W2 role (not contract)
