About the Role
The VP of Waterworks is a high-impact, field-first sales role focused on expanding the company’s reach across Oregon and the broader West Coast. You’ll be the face of the brand in the region, building relationships with contractors, municipalities, and engineering firms while identifying and securing new project opportunities. This is a true hunter role, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, field activity, and driving results from the ground up. Note that this is a hybrid role and the candidate is expected to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the waterworks sector.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and project engineers.
· Represent the company at client meetings, job sites, and industry events.
· Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver timely, customer-focused solutions.
· Report on pipeline activity using Salesforce and leverage internal tools for lead generation.
· Contribute to strategic decisions around product mix and local market opportunities.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in the waterworks industry.
· Demonstrated success in developing new accounts and driving regional growth.
· Located within a 60km radius of Salem, Oregon and willing to work in-office up to 25% of the time.
· Strong local network of contacts in the municipal, engineering, or contracting community.
· Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in an independent sales environment.
