About the Role
The Sales Representative will focus on developing and expanding business within the Kansas territory, with a strong emphasis on Wichita and surrounding regions. This is a true hunter role suited for a driven, entrepreneurial salesperson eager to build a territory from the ground up. Working closely with technical experts and leadership, you’ll deliver value-based solutions across automation, robotics, and industrial technology.
Responsibilities
· Develop and grow sales with OEMs, manufacturers, and system integrators.
· Prospect new business aggressively and build a long-term pipeline of automation opportunities.
· Expand existing accounts through consultative, ROI-driven selling.
· Manage a structured sales process with disciplined CRM usage and pipeline tracking.
· Partner internally with engineers, support staff, and leadership to deliver integrated solutions.
· Represent a portfolio of automation and industrial technologies across 10+ product categories.
Qualifications
· 5-7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in automation, industrial, or technical environments.
· Proven track record of developing new territories or rebuilding underperforming regions.
· Mechanical or technical aptitude (experience with machinery, robotics, or systems a plus).
· Strong sales discipline, with experience in value-based or ROI-focused selling.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both engineers and executives.
· Based in Kansas (Wichita preferred; open to candidates in Salina, Topeka, or Kansas City).
