About the Role
The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving growth across sustainable markets, with a primary focus on EV installations as well as lighting and solar solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Akron, OH, requiring both a strong hunter mentality and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. With large deal sizes and long sales cycles, this role is ideal for a consultative salesperson eager to develop multi-year customer partnerships while achieving ambitious revenue goals.
Responsibilities
· Hunt for new business opportunities in EV, lighting, solar, and sustainable technology markets.
· Develop and manage a pipeline capable of supporting $3M+ annual quota.
· Lead consultative sales conversations with C-suite, procurement, and operational leaders.
· Manage long sales cycles (3-24 months) with an average deal size of $250K.
· Build strong customer relationships that emphasize trust, service, and long-term value.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, to ensure smooth delivery.
· Leverage monday.com CRM to track activity, manage pipeline, and report performance.
· Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings, with 50%+ travel.
Qualifications
· 5-10 years of B2B sales experience.
· Experience selling into EV charging, solar, lighting, or other sustainable technology markets (EV installation focus strongly preferred).
· Consultative, service-oriented sales approach (not transactional B2C/distribution).
· Proven track record of hunting and closing large B2B deals.
· Strong relationship builder with a team-first attitude.
· Based within 1 hour of Akron, OH (flexible for exceptional candidates).
· Willingness to complete behavioral testing following the first interview.

· Base salary: $60,000-$70,000. On-target earnings: $130,000+ with uncapped commission.
