Our client is a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of industrial products serving wholesale partners in the plumbing, PVF, waterworks, and irrigation markets. With a deep inventory, strong logistical footprint, and trusted reputation, they help distributors meet demand with speed, consistency, and quality. As they expand their presence across the Northeast, they’re adding a field-based sales leader to drive growth in a key territory.

About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with distributor partners across New England. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on hunting and territory development. You’ll identify growth opportunities, help distributors win more end-user business, and ensure strong product penetration across accounts. The role is remote, but candidates must live in-region and be comfortable with regular travel.

Responsibilities

· Build and grow relationships with distributors across CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, and VT.

· Conduct in-person visits to align on joint business plans and provide sales support.

· Identify and pursue growth opportunities within new and existing accounts.

· Promote new products and increase SKU penetration across accounts.

· Collaborate with distributor teams to close end-user business.

· Track activity, pipeline, and performance in CRM and report regularly to leadership.

· Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Qualifications

· 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial, plumbing, PVF, waterworks, or irrigation markets.

· Proven hunter with experience developing and expanding a sales territory.

· Full-cycle sales experience, from prospecting to account management.

· Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and self-motivation.

· Based in New England (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, or Vermont).

· Willing to travel 60%+ of the time for client meetings and distributor visits.

· Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.
