About the Role
This is a high-impact, hunter-focused sales role responsible for generating net new business. As Director of Business Development, you’ll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, selling recurring, contract-based services to commercial clients. You’ll work independently in the field, leveraging your relationships, experience, and solution-selling skills to secure new logos and build lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities
· Identify and close new business opportunities with corporate and commercial facility owners.
· Target key verticals such as commercial real estate, industrial manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.
· Build and manage a robust pipeline of $1M+ in new business annually.
· Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
· Represent a full suite of services tailored to client facility needs.
· Work closely with leadership to support contract negotiation and implementation.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of sales experience in facility services or adjacent industries (e.g., janitorial, security, landscaping, waste, HVAC).
· Consultative, solutions based seller.
· Existing relationships in the market or with corporate real estate managers, owners, or service buyers preferred.
· Ability to travel daily to visit customers.
· Demonstrated hunter mentality, ambitious, self-sufficient, and focused on net new business.
