This confidential search is for a strategic sales leader to drive growth and mentor a high-performing sales team.
About the Role
This is a new role created to capitalize on a large untapped desiccant market in North America. The Sales Representative will focus on driving sales of advanced calcium chloride–based desiccants used for moisture protection in shipping and logistics. The position is ideal for a motivated hunter with proven experience in developing new business, managing accounts, and selling within the desiccant or industrial packaging industry.
Responsibilities
· Drive revenue growth in desiccant product lines by developing new business and expanding existing accounts.
· Identify and prospect target customers such as exporters, agricultural producers, and industrial shippers.
· Present and demonstrate product lines including AbsorGel® pouches, sheets, and blankets.
· Position desiccant products as a cost-effective “insurance policy” against mold, corrosion, and cargo damage.
· Conduct product training and presentations for customers and distributors.
· Attend industry trade shows and association events to generate leads.
· Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing and follow-up.
· Track sales activity, maintain accurate forecasts, and report results to management.
Qualifications
· 1+ years of relevant sales experience within the desiccant or industrial packaging industry.
· Experience developing net new business, with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Located in the US with proximity to a major airport for travel.
· Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Comfortable working independently in a remote role.
Benefits
· Base salary up to $75,000, with aggressive uncapped commission structure.
· Higher commission rates for new client accounts during their first 1-2 years.
