About the Role
This is a ground-floor opportunity to lead business development efforts across North America. As the company’s first dedicated sales hire for the region, you’ll be responsible for building a net-new pipeline, managing sample-based sales cycles, and landing high-volume recycled plastics contracts. You’ll report to leadership based overseas and work cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and commercial strategy teams. This role requires a proactive, strategic hunter who’s excited to build something from the ground up in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
· Identify and close new B2B opportunities with manufacturers, converters, and packaging firms.
· Guide customers through sampling, trials, and technical approvals.
· Manage pipeline activity and reporting in CRM.
· Collaborate with international teams to align pricing, availability, and delivery.
· Represent the company at key industry events across North America.
· Support long-term expansion into large volume production contracts.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of sales experience with full-cycle closing responsibilities.
· Background in plastics, resins, packaging, recycling, or polymers preferred.
· Hunter mindset with a proven ability to self-generate leads and close deals.
· Strong communication and consultative sales skills.
· Comfortable with international collaboration and time zone differences.
· CRM proficiency and ability to manage pipeline data independently.
· Located in Canada (preferred) or elsewhere in North America with remote setup.
