About the Hiring Company

Our client is a global leader in financial events and intelligence services, serving a niche but influential segment of the derivatives and capital markets. With a growing presence across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, they bring together hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and service providers to connect through high-value in-person events and exclusive market insight. Their team is lean, entrepreneurial, and focused on building long-term client relationships that drive real value.

About the Role

This is a strategic, consultative sales role focused on securing sponsorships and delegate registrations for industry-leading financial events across the Americas. You'll work in a hybrid model from the company's downtown Chicago office, engaging directly with senior decision-makers at investment firms, banks, and technology providers. The role involves full-cycle sales, identifying and closing new business while growing long-term client relationships. You’ll be joining a fast-moving, collaborative team where success is built on research, relationship-building, and a deep understanding of capital markets and derivatives.

Responsibilities

· Prospect and close new sponsors and partners across financial institutions and service providers.

· Build and manage a book of business, with the opportunity to grow accounts year over year.

· Collaborate with marketing and leadership on pitch decks and event strategy.

· Attend key events (travel up to 2 weeks per year) and support post-event follow-up and upsells.

· Maintain accurate pipeline activity in Salesforce and build target lists through platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of B2B sales, sponsorship, or account management experience in financial services or events.

· Understanding of capital markets, structured products, and derivatives is strongly preferred.

· Able to communicate confidently with senior finance professionals.

· Highly proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

· Based in the Chicago area and open to a hybrid in-office schedule.

· Salesforce experience and strong research skills (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Nav) preferred.

Benefits

· Competitive base salary and commission structure.

· Equity participation offered to all employees.

· 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums.

· 401(k) with company match.

· Unlimited PTO, including two company-wide closure weeks per year.
