About the Role

As an Account Executive, you’ll lead the full sales cycle for large-scale design-build infrastructure projects, working with stakeholders across school districts, municipalities, and universities. This is a high-trust, consultative sales role that involves navigating C-suite and board-level relationships, managing long sales cycles, and helping clients secure funding for multi-million-dollar capital projects. You’ll act as a strategic advisor, building credibility in your territory and partnering with internal experts to deliver custom, high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

· Drive new business in the public sector through prospecting, outreach, and in-person meetings.

· Lead stakeholder engagement across C-level, board, and council audiences.

· Manage complex sales cycles (12–24 months) from workshop through signed contract.

· Collaborate with internal engineering, marketing, and development teams to build proposals.

· Guide clients on funding strategies (grants, bonds, rebates, etc.) for infrastructure upgrades.

· Represent modernization projects such as HVAC, solar, lighting, EV, turf fields, building envelopes, and more.

· Attend public meetings and manage presentations to community leaders and decision-makers.

Qualifications

· Full-cycle sales experience, ideally in infrastructure, energy, construction, or public sector

· Proven ability to manage long-cycle consultative deals with multiple stakeholders.

· Background in selling high-value solutions, not transactional products.

· Experience selling to school districts, municipalities, or government entities strongly preferred.

· Resilient, relationship-focused, and driven by long-term outcomes.

· Based in NorCal and willing to travel locally 3–4 days/week.

· Able to attend evening board/council meetings and stay overnight as needed.
