About the Role

This is a ground-up business development opportunity focused on mid-market IT staffing clients in the Raleigh market. You’ll be responsible for building and owning the territory, no inherited book, no recycled clients. From strategy to execution, you’ll prospect, book meetings, attend networking events, and help position the office for long-term success.

This role offers a clear growth path into leadership. You’ll also serve as a senior presence for a junior team that lacks local mentorship.

Responsibilities

· Build a new book of business focused on Raleigh-area mid-market IT clients.

· Prospect daily and execute a territory plan within the first 30-90 days.

· Schedule and attend 12+ client meetings per week (10+ in-person, 3+ net new).

· Host or attend 2+ networking or relationship-based events per week.

· Drive 2+ influenceable job orders per week.

· Re-engage placed hiring managers every 45 days.

· Serve as a team-first leader, helping coach junior staff and build local credibility.

Qualifications

· 3-5+ years of experience in IT staffing or B2B professional services sales.

· Proven success building and managing new territories or markets.

· Comfortable with relationship-based sales cycles in a high-activity culture.

· Highly accountable with clear KPI ownership.

· Based in Raleigh and willing to work from the office and in the field regularly.

· Collaborative and growth-minded, able to mentor while continuing to hunt.

· Emotionally intelligent, coachable, and highly self-motivated.

Benefits

· $85K-$100K base salary.

· First-year OTE: $130K-$140K.

· Quarterly performance bonus ($2,500/quarter).
