About the Role

The Account Executive role blends new business development and account management, managing a book of ~60 accounts while driving net-new opportunities. With a strong flow of inbound leads, dedicated marketing support, and a fast-paced 30-45 day sales cycle, this role is ideal for a driven cybersecurity sales professional looking to grow with a company that values performance and long-term commitment.

Responsibilities

· Drive revenue through a 50/50 mix of new business development and account management.

· Manage a portfolio of approximately 60 accounts, ensuring retention and upsell opportunities.

· Work inbound leads generated by a best-in-class marketing engine (30-45% of quota) while generating additional opportunities through outbound prospecting.

· Conduct regular account reviews and client meetings to identify growth potential.

· Develop relationships with MSPs serving SMB clients across North America.

· Meet KPIs including pipeline creation, weekly meetings, and closed business.

Qualifications

· 1-3 years of closing experience in data security or software products (cybersecurity preferred).

· Proven success in developing net-new business.

· US-based remote, with preference for Boston or Tampa (open to other major metros including TX, MST, and PST time zones).

· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow within a changing, fast-moving environment.

· Base salary: $70,000-$80,000 with uncapped commission structure.
