This is a high-growth opportunity for a driven salesperson with experience in technical and industrial sales.

About the Role

The East Coast Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding direct-to-customer business across Eastern Canada. This is a remote, field-based role involving frequent travel and overnight visits across regions such as Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. The focus will be on driving net new business with municipalities, engineering firms, and utility operators, without distributor involvement.

This is a pure hunting role requiring a strong understanding of industrial sales cycles, relationship-building, and technical discussions around pipe systems and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

· Drive new customer acquisition across Eastern Canada.

· Sell directly to municipal, utility, and infrastructure buyers (no distributor model).

· Travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings, site visits, and trade events.

· Navigate long-cycle technical sales and manage multiple active opportunities.

· Collaborate with internal technical teams for support on engineering requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline status.

Qualifications

· 7-10 years of sales experience, with a focus on piping, waterworks, or industrial infrastructure.

· Experience selling steel, fiberglass, HDPE, or plastic pipe strongly preferred.

· Track record of new business development and meeting or exceeding quota.

· Based in Eastern Canada (ON, QC, NB, NL, NS, or PEI).

· Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight client visits.

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

· Background in direct-to-manufacturer sales (not distributor-based).

Benefits

· Base salary: $100K-$150K depending on experience.

· On-target earnings: ~$150K with potential to reach $180K-$200K with strong performance.
