About the Role
As VP of Sales – USA, you’ll lead the development and execution of a scalable go-to-market strategy and take charge of growing a high-performing sales and account management team. This role is hands-on, strategic, and influential, you’ll work closely with product and executive teams, while reporting directly to the President (U.S.) and supporting global CRO initiatives.
This isn’t a back-office leadership role. This role is meant for someone who thrives in a player-coach environment, builds strong teams, and leads with both data and empathy.
Responsibilities
· Design and lead a U.S. sales strategy focused on growth, retention, and scale.
· Build and manage a team of Account Executives and Account Managers.
· Engage directly in the sales cycle: demos, pipeline generation, and testing new strategies.
· Collaborate with leadership and product teams to ensure GTM alignment.
· Own sales performance metrics and report on new logo acquisition, customer success, and team development.
· Foster a high-performance, feedback-oriented, and supportive team culture.
Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
· 7+ years of sales leadership experience, including AE and AM oversight.
· Experience in legal tech or legal services strongly preferred.
· Proven success scaling revenue and teams in a growth-stage or scale-up environment.
· Experience with mid-market velocity sales (not just enterprise cycles).
· Player-coach mentality, with a willingness to lead from the front.
· Strong EQ, resilience, curiosity, and team-first leadership style.
Benefits
· Base Salary: $150K-$225K.
· OTE Target: $250K-$400K.
· Quarterly variable compensation tied to new logo and retention metrics.
· Equity participation (new plan being finalized).
