About the Role

As an Associate, Business Development, you’ll join a small, high-performing team focused on selling enterprise subscriptions to financial professionals. This is an in-office role based in downtown Chicago, with potential for hybrid flexibility after onboarding and demonstrated performance. You’ll be supported by a project manager, mentored by senior leadership, and backed by a clear sales process.

This is a quota-carrying role with a mix of inbound demo requests, targeted outbound outreach, and event-driven follow-ups. You’ll work directly with Managing Directors, Partners, and other senior leaders in the financial sector, tailoring subscription solutions that match their research and market intelligence needs.

Responsibilities

· Drive new business by selling enterprise subscriptions to high-level professionals.

· Conduct sales demos and guide prospects through a consultative sales cycle.

· Hit monthly targets of 2 licenses or $12K+ in new revenue.

· Manage outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and event follow-up.

· Work cross-functionally with internal teams and receive ongoing mentorship.

· Own your territory like a small business within the business.

· Maintain CRM data and stay aligned with quarterly goals and incentives.

Qualifications

· Must be located in Chicago and able to work in-office 5 days a week.

· 1+ years of subscription-based sales experience (SaaS, media, or similar).

· Demonstrated interest in finance, capital markets, or professional business intelligence.

· Strong process orientation, attention to detail, and data hygiene.

· Comfortable with phone-based sales and outreach.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to exceed goals and grow with the company.

Benefits

· $65K-$75K base salary.

· On-target earnings ~$113K+ (includes accelerators and upsell incentives).
