Their platform helps enterprise teams in industries like insurance, lending, and higher education boost lead conversion through automated conversations and strategic outreach. With strong product-market fit and a $60K average deal size, they’ve built a solid inbound engine and are now investing in outbound sales to accelerate growth. About the Role

As Head of Sales, you’ll build and lead the outbound sales function while directly managing high-value deals. This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting to the CEO. You’ll shape strategy, drive execution, and lay the foundation for long-term growth in enterprise and mid-market segments. The company is headquartered in New York and Charlotte, and this is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in office. Expect frequent travel for trade shows and client meetings (25-50%).

Responsibilities

· Build and scale the outbound sales motion from scratch.

· Lead and close high-value enterprise deals.

· Hire, coach, and lead a growing sales team.

· Align sales with GTM and product strategy.

· Collaborate with leadership on growth targets and revenue planning.

· Represent the company at major industry events (10-20+ per year).

Qualifications

· 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 3+ years in leadership.

· Experience selling into enterprise accounts in financial services, insurance, or similar sectors.

· Proven success building outbound sales strategy and teams.

· Comfortable owning a quota and closing deals directly.

· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

· Willing to travel frequently and work hybrid from New York or Charlotte.

Nice to Have

· Background in SMS, CCaaS, or marketing automation tools.

· Experience selling to marketing or RevOps teams.

· Existing book of enterprise relationships.

· Track record of early-stage growth and team building.
