About the Role

This is the top sales leadership position in the company, reporting directly to the VP. The Corporate Director of Sales oversees a team of 60+ across Sales, Sales Operations, and Customer Experience. While the title reads “Director,” the scope is VP-level: this leader will drive the national sales strategy, lead a hybrid team of direct and independent reps, and manage business partnerships across the U.S. and internationally. If you're a seasoned sales executive who thrives in strategic conversations, has built and scaled layered sales teams, and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, this is a rare opportunity to lead a high-impact function in a company that values collaboration, integrity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute national sales and service strategies across all sales channels (direct, independent, and distributor).

· Oversee customer experience, repair service, and sales operations teams to drive alignment and growth.

· Lead forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing.

· Coach and develop direct reports including National Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers.

· Build and manage high-performing teams with a focus on performance, development, and accountability.

· Act as the lead on major contract negotiations, key account strategy, and sales partnerships.

· Identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for market differentiation.

· Represent Sales at cross-functional leadership meetings and contribute to SIOP planning.

Qualifications

· 5-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, managing large, layered teams.

· Proven success in medical device sales (capital or endoscopic preferred).

· Strong experience in urology, gynecology, general surgery, or orthopedics.

· Track record of leading change, challenging the status quo, and building scalable sales infrastructure.

· Experience managing both direct and independent salesforces, plus distributor partnerships.

· Bachelor’s degree required; background in business, international business, or related field.

· Strategic mindset with strong analytical, forecasting, and planning skills.

· Based near a major U.S. airport with ability to travel nationally and internationally (50%+).

Benefits

· Base salary up to $150,000 with OTE of $325,000.

· $6,000 annual car allowance.

· Commission and year-end bonus.

· Opportunity to shape and scale a national sales function.

· High visibility with executive leadership and real impact on business growth.
