About the Role

This is a strategic, net-new business development role focused on building long-term partnerships with data center clients across the U.S. As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from early outreach through deal close, targeting high-growth accounts and long-term national agreements. You’ll work closely with global sales leadership and U.S.-based teams to drive revenue growth and deepen market penetration.

Responsibilities

· Prospect, qualify, and close new business within the data center sector (e.g., hyperscalers, operators, contractors).

· Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across operations, safety, and procurement.

· Build a strong, scalable pipeline with a first-year target of ~$750K.

· Collaborate with marketing to leverage lead gen tools, webinars, and conferences.

· Represent the brand at customer meetings, industry events, and site visits.

· Travel occasionally for key meetings, approximately 1-2 days every few weeks.

Qualifications

· 5-10 years of B2B sales or business development experience.

· Strong pipeline management and consultative sales skills.

· Experience selling into safety, manufacturing, or technical environments is preferred.

· Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales within mid-market and enterprise accounts.

· Based in the Chicago area (preferred) or Washington, D.C. for strategic proximity to major data center markets.
