With an established customer base and significant brand recognition, they’re looking to add a results-driven Business Development Manager to focus on territory expansion west of Illinois.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role responsible for driving net new business while managing a portion of the existing customer base. You’ll work independently in the field, reporting to the VP of Sales, and be responsible for prospecting, quoting, and closing deals across multiple verticals. The role offers a blend of autonomy, strong support, and the opportunity to sell into a well-respected name in the industry.

Responsibilities

· Own and grow a territory spanning from St. Louis to Kansas City and beyond..

· Drive 5%+ annual growth in your territory, including 800+ accounts..

· Target buyers, project engineers, and quality engineers across aerospace, medical, and industrial companies.

· Handle full-cycle sales including quoting, follow-ups, and deal closure.

· Collaborate weekly with leadership in one-on-one performance check-ins.

Qualifications

· 8-10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in metal finishing, coatings, or a related industry.

· Demonstrated success as a hunter with a track record of quota attainment..

· Highly organized with strong process engagement and emotional maturity.

· Located in the St. Louis or Kansas City area.

· Willingness to travel 25–35% across the territory (company car provided).
