Our client is a leading provider of contract IT staffing solutions, known for their entrepreneurial culture and high-performance team. With strong client relationships across Canada, including several of the country’s largest enterprise and government organizations, they’re growing their Mississauga-based sales team. This is a hybrid position with flexibility and strong earning potential, ideal for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing existing accounts, bringing in net new business, and optionally placing candidates yourself for added commission. This role is well-suited to someone with IT staffing experience, a strong hunter mentality, and a desire to build a long-term sales career without micromanagement or rigid KPIs.
Responsibilities
· Sell contract IT staffing services (e.g., PMs, BAs, developers) to major enterprise clients.
· Build and expand warm accounts while hunting new business across Canada.
· Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to placement (optional recruiting component).
· Navigate sales cycles ranging from fast placements to longer government RFPs.
· Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop strategic growth accounts.
Qualifications
· 3+ years in technical staffing sales or similar 360-degree sales/recruitment role.
· Proven ability to bring on net new accounts.
· Familiar with tools like Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoom, and Indeed.
· Competitive, personable, and self-driven, able to work autonomously
· Located in the Greater Toronto Area or Montreal, and open to a hybrid schedule.
