About the Role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll focus on building new business across North America with an emphasis on proactive outreach and long-cycle sales. This is a true hunter role, ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, an interest in rotating equipment, and a knack for engaging technical buyers. You’ll manage your own pipeline, lead discovery conversations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The position is hybrid, based out of Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

· Generate new business across industrial markets such as oil & gas, defense, and data centers.

· Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and meetings to closing and follow-up.

· Maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools and track outreach, meetings, and customer data.

· Collaborate with engineering and customer support to ensure technical alignment and satisfaction.

· Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

· Provide product demos and technical guidance to prospective customers.

Qualifications

· 2+ years in technical sales, account management, or application engineering.

· 5-7 years total professional experience in a technical or industrial setting.

· Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating equipment (e.g., engines, compressors, turbines).

· Outgoing, confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and taking initiative.

· Prior hands-on experience or personal interest in engines, mechanical systems, or industrial tech is a plus.
