Our client is breaking the mold of traditional auctioning. The limitations of traditional onsite auctioning are becoming more apparent. With technological changes comes a modern tool for those looking to sell their new or used equipment. Their advanced marketing allows their clients to reap the benefits of a global marketplace. At a point of growth, they currently seek a driven Sales Representative to join their team.
The following list defines the strategic and tactical work for which this position is accountable:
Strategic Work
▪ Develop relationships with prospective buyers and selling clients
▪ Represent the company as a reputable, honest and quality company to work with
▪ Sell the company's offering and services to qualified prospects
▪ Train staff to achieve the Company Vision
▪ Improve and lead others in a Sales Strategy
▪ Improve the Systems Strategy
▪ Improve the Marketing Strategy
▪ Engage in routine strategic planning sessions with employees to develop short- and long-term strategies and tactics for the achievement of the Vision
▪ Increase the attractiveness and value of the company as perceived by customers, and employees
▪ Look for opportunities to increase productivity, efficiency, or effectiveness of the existing system.
Tactical Work
• Support assigned Sales Reps
• Daily CRM inputs of activities, contact and pipeline upkeep
• Assist with and get transport quotes as required for the sale
• Take photos of equipment on location when applicable
• Gather data about equipment being listed
• Send photos, videos and equipment info to sales support to create listings
• Gather data from buyer and sellers for applicable documents
• Fill out and have clients sign consignment agreements
• Assist with finding delivery method and timeline
• Make suggestions for systems updates/modifications
• Manage general e-mail inbox.
