Overview

As an Area Sales Manager for our client, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling their state-of-the-art egg processing solutions to potential customers in the Southeast region. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and establish strong customer relationships while contributing to the growth and success of their business.

Responsibilities

•Identify and target potential customers, including egg producers, farms, and food processing companies, within the Southeast region. Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and other strategies.

•Develop a deep understanding of the egg processing equipment, its features, benefits, and applications and all associated Lifecycle Services. Be able to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their specific needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.

•Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with clients to showcase the advantages of the equipment and services. Address any questions or concerns and provide expert guidance.

•Prepare and submit detailed sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential customers. Work closely with the sales team and management to ensure accurate pricing and terms.

•Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, striving to maximize profitability while meeting customer expectations.

•Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in the company's CRM system.

Qualifications

•Proven sales experience in a technical or industrial equipment sales role, preferably within the agricultural or food processing sector, or experience in material handlings/logistics/conveyor belts.

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•Have a history of working with the principles of value-based selling.

•Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Education

•Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
