Our client is a world-class manufacturer of hardwood floors internationally distributed and conscientiously manufactured with style and care. At a point of growth, they seek a Territory Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, the Territory Manager is responsible for identifying potential opportunities, contacting the relevant professionals, presenting the company, opening new accounts and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Targeting and soliciting new customers
• Increasing market share in the Northeastern (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ)
• Analyzing the company's positioning (market share) by territory
• Recommending to management actions to be taken to open new customers in existing or non-existing territories
• Prospecting
• Visiting customers in a strategic and organized approach
• Establishing an action plan with customers
• Developing strategies to implement customers’ action plans
• Implementing and promoting programs
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience selling flooring or commodity construction products to retailers
• Proven track record of exceeding annual quota's and/or KPI's. (Revenue Growth YoY)
• 2+ years of regional sales experience
• Experience working with distributors and retailers as the primary end client
