Solutions Architect

Opportunity Overview

Our client is a leading global provider of formula-based product lifecycle management software and consulting services within three core manufacturing segments: Food & Beverages, Personal Care/Cosmetics, and Chemicals. As an employer, our client is quickly growing and seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join their team. The Solutions Architect will lead an implementation team in the initiation, planning, design and execution of PLM solutions that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Find the best tech solution to solve existing business problems.
• Describe the structure, characteristics, and behavior of software to stakeholders.
• Define features, development phases, and solution requirements.
• Provide specs according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
• Support the pre-sales team in fit/gap analysis for prospective customers.
• Collaborate with the project manager to manage project schedules and timeline to deliver the technical solution on time and budget.
• Proactively follow up with the technical development team to review the technical solution and ensure it is developed as per requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of enterprise PLM software deployment experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Thorough knowledge in data modeling techniques and Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with DBMS (oracle and/or SQL Server. SQL Scripting, SQL triggers.
• Knowledge in web programming techniques, specifically C#, ASP.net, and JavaScript.
