Our client is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their growing team. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for driving financial sector business in Canada. A successful candidate will bring strong business development skills, outbound sales prospecting skills, and channel development skills to help uncover new customer leads while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Identifying sales opportunities for the sales team to help grow a new business area and foster new business partnerships.
Work with existing channel partners to generate new leads.
Participate in company sales campaigns.
Manage the opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
Qualify leads, as well as research into prospective companies.
Drive pipeline growth by scheduling leads with account executives.
Participate in weekly forecast meetings and provide account feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of sales experience selling into banks/financial institutions.
Proven track record of exceeding quotas and hitting targets.
A demonstrated hunter mentality and ability to win new business.
Experience with innovative systems, either open source based custom applications or COTS products that deliver functionality into your accounts.
