Our client represents more than 800 North American manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, components and materials as well as providers of related equipment and services to the packaging and processing industry.
As Exhibit Sales Manager, you will promote services to new and current customers, build your book of business and provide an outstanding customer experience. You will bring solutions to established and prospective customers and nurture these relationships into long-term partnerships. You will identify new opportunities and generate a pipeline.
Responsibilities ( What You Will Do)
Maintain an accurate and up to date sales pipeline in Salesforce, including contact information.
Work in conjunction with sales rep(s) to make telephone calls each day to prospect accounts to build a pipeline.
Maintain role as key point-of-contact for strategic customers.
Frequent communication with accounts including travel to visit Exhibitor/Member companies.
Generate and identify new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery, following up on leads in a timely manner and qualifying new companies to exhibit.
Follow up on and close company-provided leads, keeping precise records of conversations with exhibitors and sponsors.
Responsible for working with operations and sales teams to develop sponsorships and present proposals.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (What You Will Bring)
2-5 years of sales experience with an emphasis on trade show sales and event sponsorship.
Leadership skills with the ability to direct a team.
