Sales Engineer /Manager


Our client’s primary goal is supporting all industries in the development of zinc and aluminum die castings. As an employer, our client values communication and qualify and is seeking a driven sales professional to join their growing team.

As the Sales Engineer/Manager you will spend your time at the office and meeting with customers on-site and help them grow their business through value added, cost savings and products. You are not limited to geographic area or product line.

Responsibilities ( What You Will Do)

  • Manage and grow existing accounts and use your outside sales manager experience to prospect and develop new business.
  • Qualifying and pursuing sales leads to proper vetting.
  • Obtaining relevant information from customers to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Solicit feedback from customers on submitted quotes.
  • Preparing and timely maintenance of sales reports.
  • Manage trade shows such as Design 2 Part show.
  • Perform lunch and learn seminars.
  • Routinely communicates and/or meets with key customers to maintain and improve customer relationships.
  • Interact constructively with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other department staff members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (What You Will Bring)

  • 2-10 years of outbound sales experience or account management.
  • A background in metal components, stamping, die casting or plastics manufacturing.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 20% of time in the field.
