As the Sales Engineer/Manager you will spend your time at the office and meeting with customers on-site and help them grow their business through value added, cost savings and products. You are not limited to geographic area or product line.
Responsibilities ( What You Will Do)
Manage and grow existing accounts and use your outside sales manager experience to prospect and develop new business.
Qualifying and pursuing sales leads to proper vetting.
Obtaining relevant information from customers to ensure accurate cost estimates.
Solicit feedback from customers on submitted quotes.
Preparing and timely maintenance of sales reports.
Manage trade shows such as Design 2 Part show.
Perform lunch and learn seminars.
Routinely communicates and/or meets with key customers to maintain and improve customer relationships.
Interact constructively with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other department staff members.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (What You Will Bring)
2-10 years of outbound sales experience or account management.
A background in metal components, stamping, die casting or plastics manufacturing.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 20% of time in the field.
