Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their growing team! In this ambitious and challenging role, the Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of sales in the United States and Canadian markets. Additionally, the Sales Account Manager will train and manage customers, distributors and support trade shows, seminars, and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth of sales and markets in assigned territory.
  • Service existing accounts, establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential distributors.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and pricing in your region.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/conferences, reviewing professional publications, and establishing and utilizing personal networks.
  • Managing and expanding the network of distributors and agents in particular territories.
  • Gather and share information on market trends.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Direct Sales to Key Customers or Institute.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management


  • 3-10 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of materials testing, specifically metallurgical hardness testing.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to hunt new business, and build long lasting business relationships.
  • A deep understanding of writing and conducting email campaigns at a high level (excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Will be a great writer/speaker).
  • Availability to frequent travel, valid driver's license with clean driving record, eligible for a passport for international travel.
