Our client is currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative to join their growing team. The regional sales representative will be responsible for hunting new accounts in the assigned territory while managing legacy accounts. A successful candidate in this role will be rewarded with a competitive salary and bonus package.
Hunt new business (25%) while farming current customer accounts (75%).
Strategically identify, target, and close new customer accounts.
Introduce targeted prospects to the products.
Excite and guide decision makers to implement services.
Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the decision-making and closing process.
Research opportunities within target accounts.
Travel to key customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Must have 2+ years of outside sales experience.
Must be comfortable on the road.
Experience selling into the industrial sector.
Must demonstrate strategic sales planning skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
