Our client manufactures high quality forgings. They have a distinguished record of prompt delivery of high quality, precise forgings; ranging from power transmission shafts to pipe flanges and tube sheets. Our client is currently expanding their logistical network and is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing the Ontario and Michigan territory. This role requires travel to customers on a as needed basis. The BDM will work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as manage and grow existing customer relationships. A successful candidate in this role will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be located in South Western Ontario (London to Windsor) or Ottawa.
  • Candidates must have +2 years of hunting new sales experience.
  • Candidates must have experience in Machinery manufacturing.
  • Candidates must be comfortable on the road in front of clients.
  • Candidates must have experience with growing key accounts.

Compensation:: $70,000 – + OTE
