As a Business Development Engineer, you will be responsible for hunting net new business while managing some strategic existing accounts. The business development engineer will work closely with a dedicated SDR to achieve quarterly quotas and close new business in the territory.
New business development
Outbound calls and prospecting (minimal).
Work closely with an SDR to achieve quotas and sales targets.
Focus primarily on net new business while managing a small selection of strategic legacy accounts.
Travel to meet customers face to face when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
The ability to maintain a hunter mentality with an eagerness to continuously grow and expand the sales territory.
Must have experience nurturing leads and closing new business while working in an outbound capacity.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity and seeking long-term growth.
Professional sales training as well as manufacturing/ engineering background (preferred).
