Account Executive

Our client is the people behind the world’s leading innovation intelligence platform. They sell to customers across multiple industry sectors, including agriculture and chemicals, consumer goods, food and beverage, life sciences, automotive, oil and gas, professional services, aviation and aerospace, and education. Our client is scaling quickly and looking for an Account Executive who is a fearless change agent, eager to be at the forefront of innovation, and not afraid to take the path less traveled.

Responsibilities ( What You Will Do)

  • Exceed your annual quota of $400,000 USD annually recurring revenue;
  • Using leading solution selling & value selling techniques, qualify & close your pipeline to exceed monthly & quarterly targets
  • Work with Sales Development to identify and close new SMB/MM business opportunities within Life Science (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, Chemical, etc) companies across North and South America
  • Controlling the full 360 sales cycle from building a pipeline of leads through cold calling and marketing leads, execute product demonstrations, and manage product trials with the help of our excellent Solutions Consulting team to ultimately close the opportunity
  • Shape & optimize the pitch process, be on the forefront of rolling new products to the market, contribute to marketing campaigns and work with legal & finance to ensure that the customer acquisition process is smooth
  • Work with Account Management teams to grow existing business by identifying new departments & users to purchase products or Professional Services that could also be sold to existing users
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (What You Will Bring)

  • Outstanding proven track record in B2B sales (required)
  • 2+ years selling complex SaaS solutions
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences or Intellectual Property/R&D industry (desired, but not required)
  • An excellent communicator, demonstrating active listening & ability to identify and isolate customers’ challenges in simple & concise manner
  • Organized & able to set and follow processes to prioritize effectively
  • Have a positive, winning attitude and are self-motivated to achieve long-term goals
