The principals of Peak Sales Recruiting didn't start life as recruiters. We started our careers as sales people, and we have led winning sales teams at a number of technology companies. Eliot Burdett - Co-Managing Partner
With over 17 years of experience building and leading technology companies, Eliot has co-founded two software companies, Ventrada Systems, a wireless application developer, and GlobalX, an e-commerce software developer which was acquired by OnX in the late 90's. A 40 Under 40 Award winner, Eliot also built Global sales organizations as VP Sales for PointShot Wireless, and has been an advisor and acting executive for several other companies. His community pursuits have included Junior Achievement (past Chair Eastern Ontario), Volunteer Ottawa (Director), the Ottawa Hospital and the Student Technology Venture Challenge (past Entrepreneur in Residence). Throughout his years as an entrepreneur and business builder, he has recruited and managed numerous successful sales teams. This experience is now applied at Peak Sales Recruiting, a firm which attracts high performing sales professionals for technology companies.

Brent Thomson - Co-Managing Partner
Brent brings over 18 years of sales and sales leadership experience building and running high performance teams that consistently won awards and exceeded targets. Most recently Brent acted as VP of Sales for a Financial Management Consulting company and was with Borland Software as a Regional Sales Manager. Previous to that, Brent enjoyed success at Rational Software, Fastlane and EDS Systemhouse. His technology sales experience combined with his skills in identifying and developing sales talent enable him to recruit superior candidates for Peak Sales Recruiting customers.

Sally Boucher -- Finance
Sally Boucher is a Certified General Accountant with over 20 years of varied financial, operational and business development experience. Sally works as an advisor to the company, and is responsible for all financial management and reporting as well as relationships with the financial community. Her previous roles included Controller, VP Finance, and CFO for several software and other high growth technology businesses. She is a past member of the Board of Governors of CGA Ontario where she played an active role in promoting professional standards. Recently she received an Ontario Distinguished Service Award from the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario. Sally is well known for her professionalism, commitment to excellence, and plays an active role in community affairs.

Gillian Brouse -- Marketing
Gillian has more than 15 years experience in B2B marketing for technology companies. She got her start in high tech at Fulcrum Technologies, as Manager of public relations, and was the first marketing staffer to win a President's Award. At Cognos, Gillian was a senior PR counsel and headed up several successful product introductions and community PR initiatives. Most recently, she has been a marketing consultant and executive for hire with Reid Eddison, a business consulting firm specialized in assisting technology companies overcome barriers to growth. In that role, Gillian helped launch and grow several companies, including Peak Sales Recruiting.

Susan Riekki-Odle -- Enterprise Solutions
Susan heads up the Enterprise Solutions group at Peak to help national and global companies build and re-engineer winning sales teams. She is driven to help customers solve business problems and has built her career – and earned widespread respect – because she will stop at nothing to understand and meet customer needs. With 18 years of sales experience that spans banking, retail and technology, Susan was most recently Vice President, Corporate Sales for neuroLanguage Corporation, and she held key sales management positions with Quest Software, FastLane Technologies, and OmniMark Technologies, where she grew sales teams and revenue on a consistent basis. She also successfully established a consulting firm that assisted technology investors and their portfolio companies with channel strategies.

Joanne Whittle -- Sales Leadership Practice, Peak Human Resources
Joanne Whittle has over 10 years of senior managerial experience in both private and public companies spanning all areas of Human Resources. Before joining Peak, she was Director of HR and Corporate Secretary for Spotwave Wireless. Previously, as an employee or in-house consultant, Joanne set strategy for local and global recruiting initiatives for GlobalX, Siemen's, Nortel, and Peleton. Joanne worked to bring many of these organizations into legal compliance and developed and delivered courses on the use of behavioral interviewing, hiring policies and practices, and compliance issues. Joanne completed the U of T's Rotman School of Business Executive HR Management Program. Her professional designations include CHRP and CCR. In 2004, she was honored as the Ottawa Citizen's HR Professional of the Year. In addition to her role collaborating with Eliot Burdett to develop the Sales Leadership Recruiting Practice, Joanne will run Peak's internal HR activities and help steer the company's efforts to establish industry-leading best practices in sales recruiting.
